Very Special Videos

As some people, who know me, may know, I had a very special person in my life. Someone who was very dear to me, and was that one person with whom I was fortunate enough to meet in my life; my soulmate.

Erin was the most amazingly beautiful person that you could possibly imagine, in every way. She literally lit up a room when she entered, and everyone who knew her absolutely loved her. She had a way with people, and she could put a smile on even the most stubborn person. Her energy was just that strong.

We had this crazy connection between us that grew from the second time we met. She thought I was arrogant, and a jerk, the first time we met, but I was just trying to show off to her! lol Once I let my guard down and opened up to her, we began a friendship that would become the most important one of my life.

I can go on for days describing this amazing woman, but I'll keep this as short as possible.

She, tragically, passed away on January 6th, 2021 from COVID. Towards the end, we had grown beyond friends, and that day was the absolute worst day of my life. It was a day I will suffer from for the rest of my life. We only had 12 short years together, but they were the best years of my life. I will never be the same person again, as she was the rock that held my life together.

The videos below, were filmed by her. She absolutely loved my guitar playing, and would make me play over her favorite songs. She filmed them to watch and listen to me playing over the music she so loved. And, music she did love!

I have many videos of my playing, but none are as special to me than these are. It's not necessarily my greatest playing, as I was mostly trying to figure out the songs themselves. But, I did play as best as I could, and did my best to follow her direction.

So, enjoy them for what they are, and celebrate an amazing person who left us far before her time.

*Many of these videos are in .mov format and pretty large files. I'll be working on converting them to .mp4, to reduce the file size, and to make them compatible to a wider range of devices.
